Cooking Class: Italian Bread Baking w/ Frank the Bread guy

Saturdays are for bread baking! Join Frank the Bread Guy–Frank Petrarca–and learn the art of making delicious bread. He will lead you through mastering technique, attention to quality ingredients, shaping tips & tricks, take the mystique out of baking,  and show folks how to gear bread-baking to work around their schedule. Enjoy Frank’s pre-baked samples with our in-house churned compound butters, jam, and other little bites as you knead your way to amazing bread!

Italian Bread Class: In this class Frank Petrarca will teach you how to make an easy, versatile, and delicious Italian loaf which is also a family recipe. It is a perfect bread for both first-time and experienced bakers alike. Frank will share plenty of tips & tricks to make beautiful, tasty loaves every time. This is a hands-on class and you can knead your dough in class to take home and finish after the class or take the ingredients home to make at your convenience. (Keep in mind kneading space may be limited) You will see every step of the bread baking process such as kneading, shaping, baking and then comes everyone’s favorite part – eating it! Attendees are provided with the recipe and enough ingredients to make their first loaf either in class or at home.  It is recommended that attendees own a 9-inch loaf pan (no nonstick or glass pans) or a high-quality cookie sheet such as an “air bake” type. For those who wish to knead their dough in class bringing a large plastic bowl with a lid is also recommended. (Skill Level – basic)
