Sips & Savors: Weekly Wine Tasting

Join us in The Nook for a weekly wine tasting featuring local, regional, and other wines from around the world. This Thursday, meet with Vino’s sommelier for a trip through Italy and its many wonderful wines. Wines featured will be available for purchase and are carried in our liquor department in the store.

Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided from our cheese department and bakery.

What to expect:

1. 1-2 tastings from each sampled wine.
2. Jewels of knowledge from Vino’s Sommelier, so bring your wine diary or notepad!
3. Chance to buy wines at end of class.
4. Drawing for a free bottle of wine.

This class costs $35 and payment must be made PRIOR to the class at the Farmhouse Bar.

Originating in Sicilia, Italy our family began wine-producing in the mid-1800s until arriving to America in the early 1900s to settle in the Midwest. Although time and distance had separated us from our European ancestors, we reconnected in 2008 after a full generation had passed. This inspired us to return to our roots and being importing Italian wines into the United States. Vino Indiana consists of nearly 20 employees and represents over 50 wineries and distilleries from around the world. We partner with hundreds of customers throughout the State of Indiana to supply over 300 varietals of wine. We’ve also developed many of our own private label wines which we import from Italy.”
